My dad’s 05 also has the Vulcan. It’s slow, but sounds decent and is the only part of the car that hasn’t broken

My XJ is miserable to drive in 90 Va heat and gets 13mpg.... other than that it’s fine.

I’m going to run the numbers to see if I can afford to keep it as a winter beater, but the odds are that the XJ and my Panther are being sold asap.

I bought a white one exactly like that a few years ago for girlfriend. Actually liked it. Had 200k on it but transmission rebuilt 50k before. Served well for a year then failed emissions and didn’t feel like spending anything on it . sold it to somebody in emissions exempt area that needed cheap transpo. Got the same price I paid.

Advice. Check oil and trans fluid every few weeks. Old Ford’s leak :)
